Professional Biography

I hold Bachelors Degrees in Speech Communications and Theology, and a Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Science.

I began private practice as a mental health counselor in 1988 and was licensed in 1990.  I provided individual and group counseling services as well as clinical supervision services.  Since closing my private practice in 1998, however, my work in the mental health field per se has been limited to specific pro bono work on behalf of detained immigrants.

In a parallel career, I have worked as a software applications consultant, specialist and trainer in various private and non-profit companies since 1990.  My expertise is primarily with the Microsoft Suite although I have also been a trainer for the implementation of proprietary enterprise systems.  This experience has provided me with an insider perspective of corporate and non-profit cultures.

Assisted by the insight and feedback of several colleagues, the Peership Principles model was created by me over several years beginning in 2001.  My professional passion and public work is now devoted full time to being a consultant and life coach, mentoring clients with the Peership Principles.

Peership is inspired by and dedicated to Etty Hillesum, who died in Auschwitz, November 30, 1943.
